From good to kickass

I bought these pipes for my 2009 Street Bob because they look good and I wanted better performance. They definitely look good, were easy to install, and give a bit better performance - but they *need* baffles...these suckers are LOUD without them. I did the do-it-yourself stage 1 - Cobra Fi2000 PowrPro Tuner, stock K&N filter replacement (currently upgrading to a bigger K&N), and these pipes.

I rode around with them back and forth to work for a week, which is about a 30 minute commute, and found that my ears were ringing by the time I got to my destination. I also had a bit of a hard time starting it since these are barely more than straight pipes and there is very little back pressure. I did some research and ended up getting the Hard Kore Baffles from smartpartz, which are a must if you have these pipes and want to tone them down. With the baffles they sound stock at idle, have a little extra heft at normal acceleration, and sound down right gritty at full th rottle.

The pipes were really easy to install and the instructions were clear. I bought these from Powersports Superstore using Prime and they arrived a day early.

very pleased with these pipes even with the baffles in the give your harley an iconic muscley sound that really cant be beat. end result EXTREMEMLY SATISFIED !
