Excellent product easy to install. instruction not very clear but it was still easy to do the install. i would definetly recommend this product.

Great item, slightly misleading instructions.

The bars look great and install fairly easily. If you can adjust your mirrors, you should be able to handle the fatties. There is one important correction to the installation instructions. The bars are not symmetrical. This is not noted in the instructions, which tell you to remove the FORWARD mounting bolts on both sides' floor boards. Don't do that. Instead, remove the REAR mounting bolt on the LEFT side of the bike, and the FORWARD mounting bolt on the RIGHT side.

You might also want to pick up a couple of 8mm lock washers for the radiator mounting bolts. It is very difficult to reuse the ones on the shorter mounting bolts you are replacing for this installation. Shame on you Cobra for omitting these two 10-cent parts. Also, if you don't have one, pick up a 19mm stubby combo wrench or open end wrench. When tightening the upper mounting bolts of the bars you will not have room for your regular wrenches.
