I am 5'7" 29 inch inseam, needed a shorter seat height to have both feet on the ground and this was the answer. I read a lot of negative comments on the look of this seat on the DRZ400 but do not see why. It looks like it was made for it. I think it looks better than the stock seat. I also read that it was uncomfortable...also not true. I ride 2 to 3 hours per day on my DRZ and I like it better than the stock seat. Great seat. Great price. Love it.

Just what i needed to let me touch the ground better with my feet .And with 1" bar risers makes for better handling and contral trail riding .

Purchased it for my 07 drz400s. I'm short and it helps me touch the ground better. I was looking around before I ordered and a lot of people said the seat was uncomfortable and they are right.
