Safety won out for me. I realize Freeway bars probably do little in an accident, but most of us, if we drop our bike, will do it in a parking lot or our own driveway. Here they are great in limiting damage to ourselves, our bike, and of course picking the bike up is easier. Very satisfied.

This was delivered one day after notifications. Amazingly fast! The Cobra bar itself is an excellent to my VTX 1300C, but I had to go out to buy one of the peg bolts, since the original bolt was too short. It looks like my bike is somewhat bigger and definitely prettier now.
